Fuse Privacy Policy

Welcome to Fuse ("Fuse," "we," "us," or "our"), a mobile dating application designed to help users find genuine connections through matching, voice profiles, and compatibility checks. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights concerning that information.

By using the Fuse app and services, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information directly from you when you create an account, complete your profile, and interact with the app.

C. Technical and Device Data

We use Supabase services which automatically collect standard technical data:

Identifiers: Device ID, IP address, Authentication token (Auth.UID).
Usage Data: Access times, device type, crash reports.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your data for the following purposes:

To Provide and Maintain the Service: To create and manage your account, authenticate you, and display your profile to potential matches.
Matchmaking: To process your preferences (Vibe Filters) and swipe actions to determine potential matches (including the Fuse Check game logic).
Communication: To notify you of new matches, messages, and official updates via the Fuse Team Official Channel (Announcements).
Safety and Moderation: To investigate user reports, enforce blocking, and maintain a safe environment.
Analytics and Improvement: To monitor usage, debug technical issues, and ensure the app is functioning correctly (e.g., during Maintenance Mode).
Account Deletion and Data Management: To fulfill your request for a complete data wipe.

3. How Information is Shared

We do not sell your personal data. We share information only in the following limited circumstances:

With Other Users: Your Full Name, Age, Bio, Photos, Voice Intro, and Vibe Tags are shared with other Fuse users based on the discovery and matching criteria.
Service Providers (Supabase): We rely on Supabase for data storage, authentication, and hosting. Your data is stored on Supabase's secure infrastructure.
Third-Party Auth Providers: If you use Discord or another OAuth provider to sign in, we only receive your email address and UID from that service to create your Fuse account.
Legal Compliance: If required by law, subpoena, or governmental request.

4. Data Security and Safety Features

A. Security Measures

We take reasonable steps to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. This includes:

Supabase: Utilizing Supabase's built-in Row-Level Security (RLS) to restrict data access only to the authenticated user (auth.uid()) or matched partners.
Verification: Implementing a Verified Spark feature to increase trust and filter out fraudulent accounts.

B. Safety Features

Blocking: When you block a user, we immediately delete any existing matches between you and that user, preventing future contact and visibility.
Reporting: All user reports are logged securely and used solely for moderation purposes.

5. Your Rights and Data Deletion

A. Account Deletion (The Clean Slate Mandate)

You have the right to delete your account and all associated personal data at any time via the Settings Screen.

Our Deletion Process ensures a complete wipe of your data:

All chat messages you sent or received are deleted.
All records of your Likes and Passes are deleted.
All records of your Matches are deleted.
All profile information (Name, Bio, Age, Vibe Tags) is deleted.
All uploaded Photos and Voice Intros are deleted from Supabase Storage.
Your authentication record is signed out.

Note: If you re-register with the same email, you will start completely fresh, as mandated.

B. Access and Modification

You can review and update your profile information (Name, Age, Bio, Photos) at any time through the Edit Profile screen.

6. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new Policy within the app's Fuse Team Official Channel (Announcements) and updating the "Effective Date" at the top of this document.
