MSP Universe ("we," "our," or "us") operates the 1 Minute Plank timer application (the "App"). This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information when you use our App.
By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
1. Information Collection and Use
Plank Pulse is designed with privacy in mind. We do not require you to create an account, and we do not collect or store any personally identifiable information (PII) (such as your name, email, or phone number) on our own servers.
1.1 Local Data Storage
All app data, including your Workout Streaks, Timer Settings, and Last Activity Date, is stored locally on your device using SharedPreferences. This data remains on your phone and is not transmitted to us. Please note: If you uninstall the App or clear your app data, your streak progress will be permanently lost.
1.2 Image Gallery & Storage
The App includes a feature to generate and save a "Champion Flashcard" to your device's photo gallery.
Android 10 and above: We use modern Android storage features (Scoped Storage) to save this image without requiring broad storage permissions.
Android 9 and below: We may request
WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGEpermission solely to save this image file to your device.Privacy Commitment: We never access, view, upload, or analyze your personal photos or other files on your device. The storage access is strictly "write-only" for the purpose of saving the Flashcard.
1.3 In-App Purchases (IAP)
The App offers optional "Support" purchases (e.g., "Buy Me a Coffee").
All financial transactions are handled directly by Google Play Billing.
We do not collect or store your credit card information, bank details, or billing address.
Google provides us with anonymized transaction data (e.g., "Item Purchased," "Date") to verify the purchase.
2. App Permissions
We request the following permissions to provide specific features:
VIBRATION: Used to provide haptic feedback during the workout timer and upon completion.
POST_NOTIFICATIONS: Used to send you the daily "Pulse Check" reminder to help maintain your streak. You can disable this in your device settings at any time.
RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED: Used to reschedule your daily notification reminder if you restart your phone.
INTERNET: Required by Google Play Services to process In-App Purchases and to open links to our other apps/support page.
3. Third-Party Service Providers
We use third-party services that may collect information used to identify you. Please refer to their privacy policies:

4. Children’s Privacy
These Services do not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we immediately delete this from our servers. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so that we will be able to do necessary actions.
5. Security
We value your trust in providing us your Personal Information, thus we are striving to use commercially acceptable means of protecting it. But remember that no method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure and reliable, and we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Thus, you are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. These changes are effective immediately after they are posted on this page.
