Last Updated: February 28, 2026
1. Introduction
Welcome to Shatter. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting it. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and what rights you have when you play our game on Android.
2. Information We Collect
We intentionally collect as little data as possible.
- No Personal Data: We do not require you to create an account, nor do we collect your name, email address, physical address, or phone number.
- Local Game Data: Game progress (such as levels unlocked, gold coins earned, demo playtime, and victory badges) is stored locally on your device using Android's native
SharedPreferences. We do not transmit this data to our servers. - In-App Purchases: If you choose to support the game or purchase a subscription, the transaction is processed securely through the Google Play Billing Library. We do not collect or store your credit card information or payment details. Google Play shares limited, anonymous purchase status information with the app to unlock features.
3. Third-Party Services
The app uses the following third-party services which may collect information used to identify you:
- Google Play Services: Used for processing in-app purchases and subscriptions. For more information, please refer to the Google Privacy Policy.
(Note: We do not use third-party advertising networks. The game is entirely ad-free.)
4. How We Use Your Information
The strictly localized and anonymous data we interact with is used solely to:
- Save your game progress and currency (Gold Coins).
- Verify in-app purchase and subscription statuses to unlock the campaign levels.
- Ensure the 1-minute demo is only played once per device.
5. Security
We value your trust. Because your game data is stored locally on your device, it is secured by your device's native operating system protections. However, remember that no method of electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
6. Children's Privacy
These Services do not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13.
7. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date.
8. Contact Us
If you have any questions or suggestions about our Privacy Policy, please contact us via our Google Play Store developer contact email.
